TubeLens

About

Who built TubeLens

We are not a platform. We are an editorial newsroom that uses AI to challenge a metric that has taken over the internet: popularity.

TubeLens is a product of INOSX, an American company founded in 2024. INOSX builds digital products with applied AI — and TubeLens is the first to reach the public.

The motivation was clear: YouTube's algorithm optimizes attention retention. Sensationalism, clickbait and rage bait perform as well as deep educational content. Anyone seeking quality information ends up hostage to a yardstick that was not made for it.

TubeLens does not aim to replace YouTube. It offers a second opinion — a critical reading based only on what the video says (transcript), with public, auditable criteria. Before you spend 30 minutes on a video, 30 seconds of analysis is worth it.

TLR system

How we rate

Every video receives three independent classifications — the Lupometer (aggregate editorial quality in 4 states), the Suggested Age tier (suitability derived from 12 content signals) and the Editorial Seal (conformity with disclosure and sourcing standards). All derived from the transcript with public, auditable criteria in /methodology.

Inspired by public principles from IARC (age suitability) and the U.S. FCC §73.1212 + FTC Endorsement Guides (editorial and advertising standards). No affiliation or endorsement from those organizations. Editorial, derived and independent classification.
