Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data TubeLens collects, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to both tubelens.app and the Chrome extension.
Account data
When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a cryptographic hash). We use this only for authentication. You can request account deletion at any time via support@inosx.com.
Usage data
Every analysis you trigger is linked to your account in your private history. Results (score, detected signals, extracted transcript) are also stored in a global cache by video_id and may be publicly displayed in rankings, channel pages, and the individual analysis page.
What the extension accesses
The extension reads only the URL of the active tab when you click its icon — to extract the YouTube video ID. It never reads page content, browsing history, or other tabs. The only network calls are to TubeLens and to the public read API of our database, and the only credential sent is your TubeLens session cookie (we never expose it to third parties).
Comment sharing
The Pro feature for sharing the analysis as a YouTube comment only writes text to your computer's clipboard. You decide when and where to paste. The extension never posts automatically on your behalf anywhere.
Cookies and storage
We use a session cookie to keep you authenticated. The extension uses chrome.storage.local only for future preferences (no personal information). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
Third parties
To deliver the service, we rely on infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, database, AI processing, transcript extraction). These providers access data only as necessary to operate the service and are bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time via support@inosx.com. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (LGPD in Brazil, GDPR in Europe).
